Here’s the new boat stickers and we will be placing them on some new boats!

Just out of curiosity,  how many of these boat terms do you know?

Aye      Yes, while aboard a vessel or ship,  means “I understand”

Aweigh   Off the bottom, said of an anchor

Cardinal Points   The four main points of a compass north, south, east and west.

Painter    A rope attatched to the bow of a vessel for making it fast

Stand-On Vessel    The vessel with the right-of-way

Trim    To arrange weights in a vessel in such a manner as to obtain desired draft at bow and stern

  1. LETS SEE , I HAVE A COMPASS IN MY HEAD SO IT WILL NOT MATTER BUT IT IS WINTER AND THE BOATS CAN WAIT A LITTLE. IT WILL BE A LONG WINTER WAY UP NORTH!TAKE CARE.
